Question & Answer Q: What is the difference between CA-53 and DKU-2? A: CA-53 is the replacement for the DKU-2. The difference as far as we know is that the DKU-2 has its own USB to COMM driver inbuilt that allows the port to be open without the phone having to be on. CA-53 is not recognised by a PC unless the phone is turned on. They both work fine as data cable for nokia phones in their own compatible list. Q: How can I make the data cable work? A: 1. Make sure the USB port on PC is working. Use another USB equipment like USB mouse to test it. If PC detect the new device, it indicates USB port is ok. 2. Then connect data cable to mobile phone on one side, plug the other side into PC USB port, the PC should detect new hardware, otherwise, maybe data cable is broken. 3. If PC can detect mobile phone, you should follow our paper installation guide to load driver and application. 4. After driver and software installation, please check if the driver has been properly installed. Click "Start" -> setting -> control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager. In "device manager", a properly installed driver should not have any yellow or red mark on the corresponding icon. And you should not find any yellow question mark in the device list. If you found yellow or red mark on icon or yellow question mark in the list, it indicates that driver/s is not loaded properly. In this case, you should get a PC technician to check the PC for you. 5.
